The Sudanese community in the US came to protest outside the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in Washington, DC in response to UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces militia officials at the luxury hotel.

The RSF officials were there upon the invitation of Sudan Quartet (the US, UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia) who hastily arranged Sudan peace talks even as the RSF were implementing their genocidal project against Darfur’s non-Arab population.

The RSF delegation included

Algoney Hamdan Dagalo, the younger brother of RSF commander Hemedti, who was able to stay in a luxury DC hotel despite being sanctioned by the US for procuring the arms that facilitate the RSF’s killing spree.

The delegation also included Nasreddine Abdelbari, a non-resident fellow at the US’ Atlantic Council think-tank. Formerly Sudan’s justice minister, Abdelbari signed the Abraham Accords to normalise relations with Israel. Since then, he has regularly published articles making overtures to the Zionist Occupation Entity in both Israeli and American publications.

He is now a leading member of the RSF-led political entity named ‘Ta’sees’.
