In this video, Chad Mansbridge provides a broad overview of the historical happenings relevant to God's people in the years immediately proceeding Acts 28.

The decade of the 60s was a very difficult time for this part of the world—Roman politics was in turmoil due largely to the unravelling of Emperor Nero, the Christians suffered enormous persecution and were martyred in the thousands, and the Old Covenant Community were embroiled in a war with Rome and an extended civil war within Jerusalem itself which ended in the complete destruction of the City, her Temple, and the lives of hundreds of thousands of Jews.
