My thanks to John for playing these games this past Saturday (10/25/2025) down at the FIRST CHAPTER COFFEE HOUSE in Gold Beach, Oregon, USA. This is where, every Saturday, from 10 AM until 3:30 PM you will find the Gold Beach Chess Club in action. Good chess and good times make for good chess times!

Smaller meeting than usual, 6 players. But that was during a Tornado/Water Spot advisory! Not your usual Saturday by any stretch of the imagination! At the end of the meeting John and I worked in our five game blitz match where I would subtract a minute from the clock every time I won a game. This was game two where John, playing the white pieces, had five minutes and I had four minutes reflection time and the Black Pieces.
