Book of Jude - Verses 17-25 (Pulling Them Out of the Fire)

The close of this book is as excellent as the verses previously studied. Often times we think a church needs to be protected and guarded by its leaders, and they do have that charge, however Jude helps us see that we all have a part in this. All who read this are told to "contend earnestly" for the faith which was given to all in the church, through the ages.

Jude continues with another part of this where the church is to stand as a contrast to those who look to infiltrate and corrupt. It is the sign of a healthy church, in that its people know what they believe and why, chapter and verse. The church has been taught and continues to grow, line upon line and precept upon precept. The foundation is sure and any building is from that place of being placed firmly upon its cornerstone, Jesus, whom we wait for with joy and eager expectation.

Until He returns we look to reach those in error, in hopes they come to a living relationship with The One who loves their soul.

To Him:

24 Who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.
