Power and Occultism 3/3: Is the legal process a Satanic ritual?
In this instalment of the Power and Occultism series, we look at the legal process—notably the judicial trial—as an occult ritual, since there is nothing scientific about it. In particular, it is a Satanic ritual, as Satan literally means lawyer. Satan’s mortal sin is to prosecute mankind (Adam) and play God, who is the judge of judges. The question at issue in a trial is if the accused is guilty, which is a question of science, not law, to the extent that guilt implies that the accused did something. The question also points to a sacrifice at the conclusion of the ritual. The judiciary is ultimately a gang of people who gatekeep ‘law’. Their power is to agree with each other, since their reasoning and conclusions have no scientific merit. While judges’ decisions and reasons aren’t good enough to be published in the least respectable science journals, they are supposed to be ‘good enough’ to execute people. In the end, only facts are needed, which is the business of science. To wit, what is the quantum of damages and who caused them? In the current system, however, police investigate and lawyers argue in court. Lawyers, on one hand, are basically strangers on chairs. Police, on the other hand, are third parties who come after the fact. Police’s only job should be to protect civilians, as they aren’t qualified to do forensic investigations, nor should they be acting as parties, partisans or witnesses, which creates a conflict of interest. Legal advocacy and judicial decision-making, on the other hand, is intrinsically biased, very costly and only increases confusion and the risk of error. Putting police and jurists in charge of matters ultimately puts them in a role for which they are not qualified, gives them too much power and creates conflicts of interest, since they control and can manipulate information and become explicit or implicit parties, witnesses or partisans to cases that shouldn’t involve them. As such, police’s role should be reduced to security, which is what they are trained for and capable of doing. However, since police already have the aforesaid powers and are well-paid, have securities and benefits and are unionized, this makes them practically impossible to downsize and answerable to no one. Like a child living away from their parents, they aren’t supervised and don’t have to follow orders if they don’t want to. Put simply, the judicial system is what it is. While reducing the powers of police to security and replacing courts and jurists with forensic investigators is possible and ideal, it isn’t realistic, since these institutions or organisms have grown past the point of reformation. In consequence, they won’t change until they are destroyed—which takes great violence—or die out and are replaced with new ones. Creating a new scientific establishment, however, would just be reinventing the wheel of Islamic law, which has the advantage of being a fixed ideal to which people can always return, as they do every so often, which creates reform or regeneration: one of the signs it is natural and unstoppable, like the opposite forces of decay. Hence, the ‘fast track’—and the most realistic solution—is to arbitrate with Qadis, who are domain experts, and not to transact without terms for arbitration, which are required for Muslims (Qur’an 4:65). The major legal systems represent the prevailing paradigms. No other system of law is likely to be developed, as every law has been tested and tried over the centuries. Scriptures live to tell the tale of what they condemn, which proves scriptures and what they condemn, together with the civilizations they built and the evil empires they destroyed. While common law is quickly disappearing because of its high cost, arbitrariness and barbarism, Islamic and civil law remain as the two major systems of law throughout the world. However, civil law, in its present form, doesn’t include a fixed or traditional set of values. Only its structure remains. The only legal system whose form and content are preserved is Islamic law, which is set to prevail over the other legal systems. Put simply, trial by expert, which is the foundation of Islamic law, is set to thwart trial by Satan, which evolved from common law duels and civil law inquisitions.
