November 1st is all saints day. Traditionally it has been a day to remember the saints of the past, but especially the ones who were martyred for their simple faith in Jesus Christ. At first, persecution came from the Roman Caesars, then the Roman Catholics followed by the Muslims and communist governments. It is estimated that 70 million Christians have been martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ. Even to this very day there's Christians being killed in Nigeria, Sudan and other Muslim countries.
