Scriptures For Today's Anointing Service: 1 Samuel 10:1–7 (AMP) — “The Impact of the Anointing.”
THEN SAMUEL took the vial of oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him and said, Has not the Lord anointed you to be prince over His heritage Israel?

2 When you have left me today, you will meet two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, The donkeys you sought are found. And your father has quit caring about them and is anxious for you, asking, What shall I do about my son?

3 Then you will go on from there and you will come to the oak of Tabor, and three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three kids, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin bottle of wine.

4 They will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand.

5 After that you will come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is; and when you come to the city, you will meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.

6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you will show yourself to be a prophet with them; and you will be turned into another man.

7 When these signs meet you, do whatever you find to be done, for God is with you.

1. The Anointing Establishes Divine Authority - When Samuel poured oil on Saul’s head, it was God’s seal of kingship. The anointing legitimizes your assignment and sets you apart for divine purpose. It is not man’s approval but God’s empowerment to function in His will.

2. The Anointing Activates Divine Provision - Saul met men carrying goats, bread, and wine — divine symbolism of sustenance, covenant, and joy. When God anoints you, resources begin to respond to your calling; what you need finds you on the journey.

3. The Anointing Connects You to Destiny Helpers - Three men met Saul, and each one contributed to his divine path. The anointing draws the right people into your life who help you fulfill divine purpose.

4. The Anointing Transforms You Supernaturally - “The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will be turned into another man.” True anointing changes nature, renews courage, and births divine character beyond human capacity.

Reflection 1 — Divine Authority
📖 David was anointed in the midst of his brothers, and from that day the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him (1 Sam 16:13).
Prayer 1: Father, establish my divine authority by Your anointing and let Your Spirit empower me to function in my ordained office, in Jesus’ name.

📖 Elijah was fed by ravens and later by a widow, according to God’s word (1 Kings 17:4–9).
Prayer 2: Father, let Your anointing attract divine supply for every assignment You’ve given me, and let nothing lack on my journey, in Jesus’ name.

📖 Jonathan arose and strengthened David’s hand in God (1 Sam 23:16).
Prayer 3: Father, by the power of the anointing, send me helpers of destiny who will walk with me into my divine purpose, in Jesus’ name.

📖 Gideon, once fearful, became a mighty warrior after the Spirit of the Lord came upon him (Judg 6:34).
Prayer 4: Father, let Your Spirit transform me into another person — bold, wise, and full of faith — by reason of the anointing, in Jesus’ name.

📖 Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled(Josh 21:45).
