Spotted eagle rays are members of the stingray family. They are highly intelligent, curious, and highly social. This family of stingrays glides effortlessly on the current in the waters of Wolf Island, a remote scuba diving site. The currents collide here, bringing un upwelling of nutrients that attracts bait fish, sharks, and other predators. The animal life here is spectacular and diverse. Suba divers travel from all over the world to witness what is referred to as the world's largest iMax theatre show.
Whale sharks, orcas, Galapagos sharks, and hammerheads, sea turtles, and even penguins come to the Galapagos islands for feeding, mating, and the cleaning stations where smaller fish remove parasites and pests from the larger animals.
