In my experience, 56-62 KMT units seem to be best. though i suppose of the IJA armored cars didn't keep getting stuck then max units might still work, assuming it just doesn't turn into endless meatgrinding. As always, be the light machine gunner since you will need it.

The IJA pushes deeper into North zhabei, Stiff KMT resistance however means that even with flamethrowers and Armored cars. the IJA takes considerable losses and gets bogged down, but do eventually take a railway point in Zhabei.
