The lesson on October 26, 2025 was part 8 of the “Daniel” study. Wayne reviewed what was taught in the previous lesson focusing on the Companion Bible and Daniel’s visions. Specific points included Bullinger’s interpretation of Daniel 2:35, the significance of the iron and clay in the feet of the image, and the rise and fall of empires. The speaker also highlighted the Islamic dilemma, the impact of Islamic immigration in the West, and the role of Christian ministries challenging Islamic teachings. There was chart presented of the popular anti-Islam ministries that are hosted on YouTube. This week we looked at Daniel chapter 4:1-37 KJV where Nebuchadnezzar recounts his dream and its troubling visions. We learn of the significance of the tree in the dream, representing Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom. The watcher and holy one’s command to cut down the tree and leave the stump with a band of iron and brass is discussed. Wayne notes the shift in metaphor from the tree to the stump and the implications of the seven times of judgment. The lesson wraps up emphasizing what we should learn from Nebuchadnezzar’s experience, emphasizing the importance of humility and obedience. Wayne warns against siding with terrorists against Israel, urging people to understand the significance of Israel and the Most High along with the ongoing relevance of Israel in God’s plan and the importance of supporting Israel. Wayne finished the lesson by sharing his own study of the number of times “Most High” shows up in scripture which is 49 times (7×7)!
