Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner Sue Ray J For Defamation Over False Racketeering Claims

Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, have filed a defamation lawsuit against Ray J after the singer accused them of being the subjects of a federal racketeering investigation.

The suit, filed on October 1, claims Ray J has been trying to stay relevant by spreading damaging lies about Kardashian more than two decades after their relationship ended.

Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., recently alleged during a livestream with rapper Chrisean Rock that federal authorities were preparing a RICO case against the women. He even compared the supposed case to investigations into music mogul Diddy, calling it “worse.”

In the filing, Kardashian and Jenner strongly denied his statements, describing them as “blatantly false” and “malicious.” They emphasized that no such federal probe exists and that Ray J has provided no proof to support his claims.

According to the lawsuit, the reality star and her mother are seeking accountability for what they describe as Ray J’s long-running attempts to use their fame for his own publicity, while causing serious harm to their reputations and emotional well-being.
