What happens when we let fear divide us? This song shares the story of a classroom experiment gone wrong—and shows how those same tactics still create division today.
Inspired by a real classroom activity in which students were told to "find the witch" among their friends, this song explores how quickly suspicion can tear communities apart. There was never really a witch—just like in Salem, and just like in many of the divisions we see now.
From political labels to racial tensions, from "us vs. them" mindsets to manufactured outrage—we're still playing the same game. But we don't have to.
This is a call to recognize the game for what it is, reject the fear tactics, and remember that we're all part of the same human family.
