Parasha Lech L'cha

Abram completes God's trip to Canaan, after his father Terach was unable to when he settled in Charan in Northeastern Turkey. God and Abraham are conversant, and God changes Abram's name to Abraham, the first Patriarch, and Sarai's to Sarah, heralding God's gift of Isaac to them, the second Patriarch of the Torah.
