Parasha B'reyshiyth: Genesis 1:1-6:8

The Torah begins with 'in the beginning' which is more literally translated as 'in heads of,' meaning in God's head He created the heavens and the earth. In this rich parasha we get the generations of the universe and all that is in it, as well as the beginnings of humanity, and their tragic fall.
