A New Jersey police sergeant, Kevin Bollaro, is facing charges after allegedly stopping at an ATM and a pizzeria instead of investigating multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots and screams in Pittstown on August 1. Authorities say Bollaro later falsified a report claiming he searched the area, though GPS data and surveillance footage showed otherwise. The following day, Lauren Semanchik (33) and Tyler Webb (29) were found shot to death in a home just 600 feet from where the calls originated. Bollaro now faces counts of official misconduct and falsifying records for neglecting his duty during what turned out to be a double homicide.
