We Fixed the Sun (but Broke the Grass)

This week at Probably Unlimited Games we rebuilt the entire day-night cycle from scratch. The old system didn’t survive the jump to our open world, so Matt refactored the sun… and accidentally broke the grass.

We also dove into landscape materials, layer-based foliage spawning, and all the strange bugs that come with pretending to understand Unreal Engine.
