Song: It Ain't Over Till The Fat Lady Sings
Music, Lyrics & Voices: Ai
Chorus: Aaron J. Weaver

[verse1]
At the opera, in the quiet dark,
The tenor and soprano leave their mark.
He's coughing and she's losing her breath,
The show seems headed toward a quick, sad death.

The crowd grows restless, starts to shift,
A nervous feeling, like a psychic gift.
"Just end it now!" a man yells from the pit,
"I'm late for dinner, and I've had enough of it!"

[verse2]
But a wise old usher, with a knowing wink,
Says, "Settle down now, don't you even think."
He gestures grandly to the stage,
As if to turn another page.

"The hero's dead, the set's on fire,
The plot is thicker than a muddy mire.
You think it's done? You've misconstrued!"
The usher says, in an affronted mood.

[verse3]
"For it ain't over, and it can't be,
Until you hear the finale's decree."
He holds his finger up and sighs,
And nods his head toward the wings, where lies...

A diva, waiting for her final quest,
The legendary, Brunhilde, a sight to behold.
She takes a breath and fills her chest,
Her aria promises to be quite bold.

[verse4]
Her voice erupts, a seismic wave,
The very chandelier begins to cave.
The villain trembles, the chorus shudders,
As Brunhilde's powerful voice, like thunder, utters.

The last high note, it rattles glass,
A triumph of sound and singing mass.
And only then, as silence falls once more,
The final curtain thuds upon the floor.

[chorus]
At the opera, know this one thing.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...
