At the moment 3I Atlas passed near Mars, something shifted. While most telescopes tracked the comet from Earth, China’s Tianwen-1 glanced outward, catching a sudden change of hue. The familiar white, then yellow, then emerald glow had all but vanished — replaced by a deep, pulsing red. A heat signature, unlike any comet, emanated from its core. That single glimpse might be the first proof that 3I Atlas is more than a comet. It’s waking up. And the world hasn’t yet caught on.
