The Only Things That Really Matter

In a world full of distractions and daily struggles, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But today I want to remind you of five eternal truths that can anchor your soul:

Jesus loves you. Not when the wind is blowing the right direction. Not when everything is going well. Always. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..." No matter what you're facing today, Jesus loves you.

God cares about you. Every detail. Every struggle. Every burden. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast ALL our cares on Him - roll them, throw them, drag them if you have to - because He cares for YOU.

Jesus died for ALL your sins. Not just the small ones. Not just the ones you can confess easily. Every single one. He paid it all. No additional payment needed. No sin is too big for the cross.

Jesus is ALIVE. Not just on Easter Sunday, but right now. Today. Tomorrow. Forever. We don't serve a dead religious leader - we serve a risen Savior who conquered death and lives forevermore!

Jesus is coming again. Ready or not. This same Jesus who ascended will return. The question is: are you ready?

When J.C. Penney lost everything in the Great Depression - $40 million and his mental health - he heard people singing "God Will Take Care of You" in a hospital chapel. That simple truth brought him back to what really matters. He rebuilt everything and spent the rest of his life serving God and giving generously.

What are you focused on today? The things that will rust and fade? Or the eternal truths that can never be taken away?

It's not about how long you live, but how well you live. Not quantity, but quality. Make your days count by living for Jesus and serving others.

These five truths aren't just nice thoughts - they're life-changing realities that can carry you through your darkest days and your greatest victories.
