Let’s Talk! Did God Say...A Meaty Issue. Recorded 10/22/2025

In response to the previous talk, I got a comment from someone who believes eating meat is wrong. When I asked for elaboration, I got this, under a different video:
Genesis 1:29 "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food."
Genesis 1:31 "God saw all that he had made, and it was VERY GOOD. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day."
But after the flood: Genesis 9:3: "Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you." Does the eternal God contradict Himself? Does He call His peaceful creation "very good" then later endorse the killing and eating of His creatures? Doesn't this seem a bit off? Is it possible this was not God who told Noah he could start eating animals?
John 8:44 "The devil was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
2 Corinthians 11:14 "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." Revelation 12:9 "...that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. How does Satan lead the whole world astray? Simple, by corrupting religious texts. God is the creator of life, and Satan is the destroyer of life. This is how you discern when reading scripture.
*** Matthew 18:3 "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will NEVER enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Can you remember how you were as a little child? If so, then you should know that as a little child you would have NEVER even considered the idea of killing an animal so that you may eat it.
*** To live gently is not a weakness. It is the courage to eat without killing, to love without lust, and to see every breath as sacred.
