While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.

Chapter 6 - Losing Grip on Ourselves:

Sebastian awakens strapped to an operating table, about to be lobotomized, only to suddenly snap back into the Safe Haven, where a disturbing photo reveals a clawed arm reaching from a broken floor. After chasing Tatiana down a newly-formed corridor, he is ambushed by a massive safe-headed creature before being violently warped to cliffside ruins leading toward an old church. Reuniting with Joseph, Sebastian battles through Haunted, rescues his partner from a guillotine execution, and helps him fight through another destabilizing transformation before the two press on. The detectives split up in a nearby hedge maze, where Sebastian defeats the monstrous twins Neun and Zehn with Joseph’s support. Their pursuit of Leslie leads them to an underground lab detailing experiments on the twins and a monstrous watchdog named Sentinel, which awakens and attacks, forcing Sebastian to navigate a frantic escape — even retrieving Joseph’s glasses mid-battle. After outmaneuvering or defeating the beast, the pair finally reach the church at the hilltop, desperate for answers and stability.

Chapter 7 - The Keeper:

Inside Cedar Hill Church, Joseph’s condition deteriorates again, and Sebastian hears Kidman and Leslie somewhere below, moments before another violent episode forces him to sedate his partner. Ruvik then appears and teleports Sebastian into the catacombs beneath the church, cutting him off from everyone. Down below, Sebastian witnesses The Keeper vanish into a sealed chamber that requires three Lithographs, sending him through gruesome AlterEgo-infested tunnels while being stalked by the relentless executioner. After gathering all three pieces and opening the slab, Sebastian finds Leslie imprisoned in a torture chamber, but freeing him triggers an alarm and releases toxic gas as The Keeper emerges for a deadly confrontation. Racing against suffocation, Sebastian shuts down the gas valves and crushes The Keeper in a brutal spike trap, buying himself a moment of peace. With Kidman missing, Joseph still unstable, and Leslie terrified, Sebastian descends deeper into the caverns below, knowing Ruvik is tightening the noose around all of them.
