The following report was presented by the Chief of the General Staff, Army General Valery Gerasimov, during a meeting with the President:

Units of the 2nd and 51st Armies, advancing in converging directions, have successfully encircled the enemy in the Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov area.

A substantial concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces, comprising 31 battalions, has been impeded. This includes units from the 25th Airborne, 79th Air Assault, and 68th Jaeger Brigades, as well as the 35th and 38th Marine Brigades, 425th Separate Assault Regiment, and 153rd and 155th Mechanized Brigades.

During the execution of combat tasks, the most distinguished servicemen were from the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and 439th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 2nd Army, as well as the 9th and 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 51st Army. Other distinguished servicemen were from the Rubicon Unmanned Technologies Center.

In the direction of the "West," the military has established a perimeter around the city of Kupiansk, indicating an ongoing strategic manoeuvre.

Assault detachments of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division of the 6th Army, having executed a flanking maneuver, seized the enemy's crossings over the Oskol River south of the city. In cooperation with the 47th Motorized Rifle Division and 27th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Tank Army, these detachments then blocked the Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping on the left bank east of Kupiansk.

The area is encircled by units of the 14th, 43rd, and 116th Mechanized Brigades of the opposing force, as well as the 1st National Guard Brigade of Ukraine. The total number of combat battalions in the area is 18.

Additionally, military units operating under the designation of the "West" troops grouping have demonstrated a consistent pattern of success in their advancement toward the Krasny Lyman area. The liberation of the Yampil settlement is approaching its conclusion.

Over the past two weeks, the "North" troops grouping has achieved success in its advance in the southern part of Volchansk, with over 70% of the city being liberated to date.

Assault detachments of the Southern troops grouping have successfully liberated the settlements of Dronovka and Pleshcheyevka. These detachments are currently engaged in urban combat in Siversk and Kostyantynivka.

The military units of the "East" troops grouping are developing an offensive in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. Currently, six settlements have been freed.

On October 21, a test of the Burevestnik cruise missile, equipped with a nuclear power plant, was conducted. This test involved a multi-hour flight of the missile, during which it traversed a distance of 14,000 kilometers. It is important to note that this distance is not the operational limit of the missile.
