⚡ Trump praises the Qataris for their help negotiating with Hamas

During a refueling stop earlier in Doha, part of his five-day trip to Asia, President Donald J. Trump met onboard Air Force One with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, alongside Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

The three leaders spoke about the ongoing ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, with Trump praising the Qataris for their help in negotiating with Hamas, while stating that “if necessary” Qatar is willing to deploy a peacekeeping to Gaza.
