BIO — Sam Shoemate
Sam Shoemate is a retired U.S. Army intelligence professional with 21 years of honorable service to the United States of America. Throughout his career, he served in a wide range of operational and analytical roles, supporting missions across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central and South America.

As an All-Source Intelligence Technician, Shoemate trained and led soldiers in the development of intelligence operations vital to mission success. He served with distinction across multiple commands, including the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 71st Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group, and the 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.

During his tenure, he also stepped up as an acting commander within the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, ensuring operational continuity and mission readiness under challenging conditions.

After two decades in uniform, Shoemate took a courageous stand as a military whistleblower, exposing corruption, unethical conduct, and the unlawful implementation of the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. His testimony and advocacy sparked nationwide attention and gave a voice to servicemembers whose rights had been violated.

Today, Sam continues his mission of service through Remnant Ministries, a faith-based humanitarian and counter-human-trafficking organization, where he contributes to operations, training, and community resilience initiatives. He also serves as Chief of Staff for Doc Pete Chambers, a veteran and physician running for Governor of Texas — a campaign rooted in restoring freedom, faith, and integrity to public service.
