A Halloween Themed Ladies Night Out in Texas

We started the weekend with a date night at the Kosmic Fusion Vietnamese Restaurant in Highland Village. Formerly known as Teaholic, the chef had an interesting take on traditional dishes. We ordered popcorn chicken, ribeye steak, garlic noodles and combination fried rice. I tried their Taro Smoothie while Dave had beer. The owners came over to check on us and were friendly. We loved the ambiance. Definitely glad we started our weekend here.

Then we ended the weekend in the backyard enjoying a dip in our jacuzzi. After a busy weekend it was nice to unwind with some hot tub bubbles to get ready for another busy weekend.

For my shortcut kitchen, I whip up a quick and easy “mac” and cheese using Cavatappi pasta, Cacique cream and cheese.

Then for my craft corner I decorate a witch’s hat for a Halloween happy hour ladies night out with some of my neighbors. We had a fun evening dressing up as witches and enjoying fun cocktails and food at a cool speakeasy in Roanoke called the Ro on Oak.
