Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous private island is undergoing a massive makeover to become a luxury vacation destination. New aerial photos show construction crews actively working on Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein once hosted high-profile guests and where many of his alleged crimes took place.

Once a symbol of scandal, the island is being transformed into a high-end resort, complete with fresh landscaping, renovated buildings, and new developments under way. Heavy machinery can be seen clearing land, and the island’s signature blue-and-white striped building remains intact — now surrounded by trimmed grass and what appears to be a new design plan.

The redevelopment comes after billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff purchased the property last year for $60 million. Deckoff previously said he intended to turn the site into a luxury resort that would help support the local economy.

Despite its dark history, the island is being repackaged for a wealthy clientele, signaling a dramatic shift in how the property is positioned — from scandal-ridden retreat to exclusive tropical getaway.
