Book Recommendation of the Day
The Dialogue by St. Catherine of Siena
St. Catherine, a Doctor of the Church, lived during a time of crisis and corruption in the hierarchy. In The Dialogue, dictated under divine inspiration, she speaks bluntly about wicked and worldly shepherds, how God permits such trials, and how the faithful must respond with obedience to truth and courage against sin.
Introduction
That opening seen of Willam Wallace in the movie Braveheart where he says “Be yourself I’ll be back and they say where are you going and he says I’m going to pick a fight”
How do you deal with a bully? For any guy you will remember there was always a bully and then that bully takes a step too far and you wait for him and you fight and then after beating him you realized that had you only picked that fight sooner you’d of spared yourself and others of all the damage that bully caused and the matter is over. Well folks the hierarchy are bullies and they are picking out anyone that is too Catholic and they are bullying them into submission. How did you think your white or red marytdom was going to come? Would it be nice and easy or will it require a fight. I am here to tell you it will require a fight and you must stop cowering and stand up and fight. Our church hierarchy are destroying our church step by step over the past 55 years and its time to pick that fight.
The Catholic Church, once the unshakable bulwark of truth and the guardian of the Deposit of Faith, has in our times been infiltrated and wounded from within. Wolves now walk in shepherds’ clothing, and the poison of modernism spreads where once the clear water of Tradition flowed. Many Catholics remain unaware of this crisis. Sunday after Sunday, they assume that what they receive is the fullness of the Faith but in truth, much has been stripped away, altered, or corrupted. Silence has allowed confusion to reign, and countless souls are left wandering in a haze of indifferentism, unsure of what it means to be Catholic at all.
Yet not all remain asleep. A growing number of faithful Catholics, priests, and religious orders refuse to let this destruction continue unchecked. They have resolved, in conscience and with fidelity to Christ the King, to fight though not with violence or rash defiance, but with the spiritual arms of truth, Tradition, and courageous witness. For them, obedience cannot mean complicity in error. They understand well the teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas: that superiors are not to be obeyed in matters that oppose God, for “we ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).
At the same time, the faithful must walk with great care. It is all too easy for zeal to spill into rebellion, and for resistance to slide into the pit of schism. The devil would like nothing more than to fracture the Mystical Body even further. Thus, Catholics who take their stand must do so with humility, discernment, and loyalty to the true Church of all ages never mistaking fidelity to Tradition for separation from the Bride of Christ.
This is the balance that lies before us: to resist false shepherds without abandoning the Church, to defend the Mass and the sacraments without falling into disobedience for its own sake, and to proclaim the Faith of our Fathers even when it costs us dearly. The time of comfortable Catholicism is over. The faithful must either rise with courage to defend what remains or else drift silently into the current of destruction.
I want to read an open letter from a religious order that had enough. The Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer, also known as the Transalpine Redemptorists. They are a traditional Catholic religious order based on Papa Stronsay, Scotland, with monks, brothers, and priests dedicated to preserving the Traditional Latin Mass and the fullness of the Catholic Faith as it was handed down through the saints and centuries
Their spiritual identity is tied to fidelity to Tradition not just as a matter of preference, but as an obligation before God. They emphasize that the Mass of the ages is the lifeblood of the Church, echoing the warning: “Tolle Missam, Tolle Ecclesiam – Take away the Mass, you destroy the Church.”
How They Are Being Harassed and Abused
From their testimony, we see a clear pattern of hostility and persecution:
They state that, despite 17 years trying to live within the official structures of the Church, they have been “continually isolated and harassed”
In their 2025 Open Letter they state that
The Bishop of Christchurch, New Zealand, is singled out as having treated them as the “offscouring or scum of the earth”, using decrees and recourse to Rome to try to expel them from the diocese
This pressure would have meant that 15 local vocations were to be permanently exiled from their families and homeland. The monks declare that conscience forbids them from abandoning the faithful who still request the Sacraments and the Mass
The order explains that the abuse arises from a deeper rupture: the hierarchy, in many cases, is no longer obeying Christ but rather enforcing policies and novelties that undermine the Deposit of Faith. They describe this as a “broken chain of command” authority in the Church binds only insofar as it remains faithful to Christ. When superiors command contrary to the Faith, their authority loses legitimacy
Now contrast With the Novelties Allowed to Run Rampant. At the same time, the order laments that innovations and errors are freely tolerated, even celebrated, while traditional orders are suppressed. They specifically repudiate:
• Amoris Laetitia, for permitting Communion to those living in sin.
• Traditionis Custodes, which persecutes the Latin Mass and faithful attached to it.
• Fiducia Supplicans, which opened the door to blessings of same-sex couples.
• The Document on Human Fraternity, teaching that God wills all religions.
• The Pachamama idol scandal in St. Peter’s, which they call a betrayal.
• Bishops closing churches and denying Sacraments under Covid measures.
• False teachings about “sister churches” and “partial communion.”
• Catechetical corruption of children.
Meanwhile, those who resist these novelties are branded “stubborn, difficult, rebellious” and are lied about or marginalized
The Larger Picture: A Pattern Among Traditional Orders
What the Transalpine Redemptorists describe mirrors what has happened to other traditional religious orders:
The Franciscans of the Immaculate were placed under restrictions and crushed when they turned more fully toward Tradition.
• The Institute of the Good Shepherd has been scrutinized and pressured.
• The Society of St. Pius X has long been marginalized, often accused of rebellion simply for preserving the old Mass.
• Even the FSSP and ICKSP, though canonically recognized, are tightly restricted under Traditionis Custodes.
The pattern is clear: those who uphold the ancient Mass and doctrine are harassed, monitored, and silenced, while practices and teachings that wound the Mystical Body of Christ indifferentism, liturgical abuses, idolatrous gestures, false ecumenism are tolerated or promoted.
In short: the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer are raising their voice as a witness that fidelity to Tradition now comes at a cost persecution and marginalization while the true wounds to the Church are embraced as if they were progress. Their letter is both a testimony and a warning: the faithful must no longer be silent.
Let me read that letter to you.
Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer Transalpine Redemptorists Open Letter to the Catholic Bishops, Priests, Religious and Faithful from the General Chapter of the Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer Being held in Papa Stronsay, Scotland St Therese of the Child Jesus, 3rd October – St Gerard Majella 16th October, 2025 Dear Faithful, Live Jesus our love and Mary our hope! It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we write to you. What unites us is our great love for our Holy Mother, the Catholic Church and Bride of Jesus Christ, for whom the martyrs shed their blood and the saints gave their lives. It is this love that forces us to express a truth that is difficult, however essential. (Lk. 12: 4-9) Just like you, we too have cherished great hope for many years. We believed it was possible to live as faithful children of the Tradition within the structures of the modern Church. We believed that the old and beautiful traditions of our Faith, in particular the Latin Mass of all times, would be rightfully returned to us. This gave us hope, especially during the time of Benedict XVI. We confidently expected that we would be able to freely practise the Faith of our Fathers in the Church. We didn’t know how wrong we were! Through years of trials and experience we have come to the unfortunate conclusion that the Traditional Catholic Faith, the Faith of all times and of the saints, is incompatible with the new, modern Church, the fruit of the Second Vatican Council. They simply cannot coexist in one body. Since we deeply cherish and honour the Traditional Latin Mass and cannot give up the Holy Mass of the centuries and of the saints, this new Church does not want us. Because of our fidelity, we have been considered stubborn, difficult and rebellious; stitched up and lied about in never-ending acrimony. This letter appeals to all who sense that something is tremendously wrong in the Church or who think that the new Church and the unchanging Faith can peacefully coexist. Alas! Allow us to state the sad truth that our experience clearly shows this to be impossible. Surely this new Church would shock all the holy Popes who declared time and again that Religious Indifferentism is a very great evil, absolutely incompatible with the Catholic Faith. We tell you, we will not be complicit by silence in this ongoing destruction of the Church. We must speak up at some time and what better time than now? After 17 years as a community within the structures of the Church, we have been continually isolated and harassed. More especially these last years the Bishop of Christchurch has made us to be as the offscouring or scum of the earth. By his numerous Decrees and recourse to Rome he has sought to expel our monks from the diocese. He wants to have fifteen local vocations perpetually exiled Golgotha Monastery Island, Papa Stronsay, off Stronsay, KW17 2AR, Orkney Islands, Scotland. UK. from their families and homeland. We tell you now, higher duty forbids it. So long as there is but one soul that asks us for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacraments or spiritual help, with God’s grace we will not desert it. The Good Shepherd urges us to lay down our lives for His sheep and keep the hungry wolf at bay. It is our duty in charity, in theology and by Canon Law. Why? Because the chain of command has been broken. Authority in the Church is ministerial (serving Our Lord), not absolute (doing whatever it likes): it binds us because it is itself bound to Christ, to the deposit of the Faith, to the constant Magisterium. When a superior departs from his own obedience to Christ the King, his command is no longer the arm of Christ but the gesture of a man. (S.T., IIa IIæ, q. 104, a. 5) These churchmen disobey God. And then, having shattered the chain of God’s command they attempt to invoke religious obedience for matters that deplete the Church, and take away the Holy Mass. Tolle Missam, Tolle Ecclesiam – Take away the Mass, you destroy the Church (Luther). No! We must obey God before Man. And therefore, cleaving with might and main to our deep communion with our Holy Mother the Church, our duty before our Lord Jesus Christ and towards souls demands that: We repudiate Amoris Laetitia permitting Holy Communion to couples living in sin. We repudiate Traditionis Custodes’ persecution of the Mass and Catholics. We repudiate Fiducia Supplicans permitting the blessing of same-sex couples. We repudiate “The Document on Human Fraternity” stating that God wills all religions. We repudiate the false theology of “sister churches” and “partial communion”. We repudiate the false shepherds who triumphantly processed the Pachamama idol in St Peter’s. We repudiate Francis apologising for the heroic Catholic who threw that idol into the Tiber. We repudiate the scourge of religious indifference in New Zealand and throughout the Church. We repudiate the New Zealand Bishops’ acts of closing churches, and denying the sacraments in cowardly submission to the Covid-19 oppression. We repudiate the Bishop of Christchurch receiving his ashes on Ash Wednesday from the Anglican bishop of Christchurch. We repudiate the corruption of children, and scandal given to the innocent through evil catechetical programs. We repudiate Francis teaching that all religions are as different languages, and asking “Is my God more important than yours?” We repudiate the silence of those bishops who failed to speak out against that betrayal of the Faith. We repudiate the Synodal Church as distinct from the Divinely constituted Catholic Church. We repudiate the ongoing destruction and humiliation of our Holy Mother the Church. We repudiate those who attack or undermine the Church in her dogma, morals, sacraments, or discipline with a new cult of man. To all who read this: How long will all this nonsense go on? Whatever may be the cost to us, with the Apostle we must say: Anathema! “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.” (Gal. 1:8-9) Do not remain silent! Defend the Faith of our Fathers! “Although all nations obey King Antiochus, so as to depart every man from the law of his father and consent to his commandments: I and my sons and my brethren will obey the law of our fathers.” (1 Maccabees 2:19-20) “On the contrary, it is written (Acts 5:29): We ought to obey God rather than men. Now sometimes the things commanded by a superior are against God. Therefore, superiors are not to be obeyed in all things.” St. Thomas Aquinas (S.T., IIa IIæ, q. 104, a. 5) Expecta Dominum, Viriliter Age et Confortetur cor tuum.
Expect the Lord, Do Manfully, and let thy Heart Take Courage. (Ps 26:14)

Epistle – 2 Corinthians 6:4–10
"But in all things let us exhibit ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in tribulation, in necessities, in distresses... as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things."
Reflection on the Epistle
St. Paul describes the paradox of Christian discipleship. Ministers of God are known not by comfort or worldly success but by their endurance of trials, their joy in suffering, and their fidelity to truth in purity and charity. The Christian’s strength lies not in avoiding the Cross but in carrying it.
Saints Chrysanthus and Daria lived this Epistle fully. Chrysanthus, converted to the faith, embraced celibacy and lived a life of purity. Daria, though initially opposed, was also converted and together with her husband became a witness of holiness. They endured ridicule, trial, and finally death for the Faith. By worldly standards, they lost everything but in reality, they gained all.
For us, this Epistle reminds us that our faith must endure in patience. Whether mocked by the world, misunderstood by others, or even suffering for our fidelity to Tradition, we are called to the same paradox: to be poor yet rich, sorrowful yet rejoicing, weak yet strong in Christ.
Gospel – Luke 11:47–51
"Woe to you who build the monuments of the prophets: and your fathers killed them. Truly you bear witness that you consent to the doings of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their sepulchers... that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation."
Reflection on the Gospel
Our Lord condemns the hypocrisy of honoring the prophets in word but rejecting their message in life. It is easy to venerate holy men and women after they are safely dead, but much harder to listen to their call to conversion when it challenges our comfort.
The same was true for Chrysanthus and Daria. Their fidelity to Christ was not applauded in their lifetime; it was condemned. The world did not honor them but persecuted them. Yet in the eyes of God, their blood was the seed of the Church. Their witness teaches us that true faith is not about outward monuments or empty words, but about living fidelity even when the world opposes us.
Today, many Catholics praise the saints of the past but ignore the call to live as they did: in purity, sacrifice, and radical fidelity to Christ. The Gospel challenges us not to repeat the sins of those who honored prophets with monuments but silenced their voices in life.
Feast of Saints Chrysanthus and Daria
Chrysanthus and Daria were martyred in Rome around the year 283. Their fidelity in marriage, chastity, and martyrdom became a powerful witness in the early Church. They remind us that holiness is not abstract—it is lived in fidelity to one’s state in life and, when necessary, in bearing witness even unto death.
Their feast day calls us to courage. While most of us will not face martyrdom, we are called daily to die to self, to endure the mockery of the world, and to stand firm in the Faith—even if it costs us friendships, opportunities, or comfort.
Application for Today
• Live with patience in trials: Like Paul and the martyrs, see trials as the path to holiness.
• Avoid hypocrisy: Honor the saints not only in words but by imitating their fidelity in daily life.
• Embrace purity and sacrifice: Like Chrysanthus and Daria, live your vocation with fidelity to Christ.
• Witness boldly: Do not be ashamed to live and proclaim the Faith, even in a hostile culture.
Conclusionary Prayer
O God, who didst strengthen Thy holy martyrs Chrysanthus and Daria to bear faithful witness to Thy Son, grant that through their intercession we may endure trials with patience, live in purity of heart, and bear fearless testimony to the Gospel until the end.
Saints Chrysanthus and Daria, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, intercede for us.
