Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we continue our journey through the seven churches and our pit stop in the church at Pergamos.

Upon inspection by the Lord of the church, He finds a few good things however He also finds a few very bad things. One of the horrible things the Lord Jesus finds are these teachers of false doctrine that are likened to an Old Testament character named Balaam.

Balaam was a false prophet who used divination and sorcery to deceive people into believing that he had a hotline to the Most High God. Yet this man was an angel of light and son of the devil.

Although the Lord spoke with Balaam, it was solely for the purpose of protecting the lineage of the SEED, that is the birth lineage of Christ Jesus the promised Savior and Israel's Messiah.

Today we learn about what that false prophet did to cause Israel to sin against the LORD God and face His righteous indignation. Nevertheless, the promises given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is an everlasting covenant that cannot be altered by the behavior of men.

It is the same with true born again believers today. A true believer on Christ can never be lost because of anything that he/she does because that is not how salvation comes to the sinner. Salvation comes through the redemption provided by the Lord Jesus and the acceptance of the glorious work on the cross with His shed blood, burial, and resurrection.

Too many people have this theology backwards and I am fearful that they may not be saved unbeknowingly.

Today's study is 1 hour and 13 minutes. I have broken the video down into segments. This is segment 1 of 8 titled What to do when your assembly teach false doctrines.
