Folic Acid vs. Folate – Clearing the Confusion One of the most common questions I get is: what’s the difference between folic acid and folate? Kendall and I break this down today, because the distinction is huge. Folate is natural — think of foliage, leafy greens, citrus fruits, even eggs. It’s what the body recognizes and uses to build DNA, make neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, and support healthy brain development. 2. Why Folic Acid Is a Problem Folic acid, on the other hand, is synthetic. A note that it was added to bread and cereals as part of a government program worth more than $2 million. But here’s the catch - folic acid has to be converted in the liver before it can be used. And for people with MTHFR gene variants, which for many of us, that conversion doesn’t happen properly. Instead of aiding, folic acid builds up, leading to immune suppression, cognitive decline, and even folic acid poisoning. 3. What Happens When the Body Can’t Process It When children can’t process folic acid, their developing brains and immune systems take the hit. So why do manufacturers insist on using folic acid instead of folate? The answer is simple: it’s cheaper. But cheaper for them generally means they aren’t considering the consumer, even if it is harmful to us. 4. Acetaminophen – An Old Warning Finally Heard Years ago, I warned in The Tenpenny Report that acetaminophen, Tylenol’s active ingredient, was dangerous. It depletes glutathione, disrupts detox pathways, and magnifies vaccine injury risk. Now, in a stunning reversal, both President Trump and RFK Jr. have announced that the government will finally update Tylenol labels to warn about its use in pregnancy. Why? Because studies link acetaminophen to autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. After decades of silence, it seems the truth is harder to hide. 5. What Acetaminophen Really Does in the Body Let’s be clear: the issue isn’t the Tylenol BRAND — it’s the acetaminophen itself. In the body, it blocks glutathione, the master antioxidant that protects cells from damage. Without glutathione, the liver can’t detoxify properly. That means more vulnerability to environmental toxins, more oxidative stress, and yes — greater risk when it comes to vaccines that the public still insists on getting. 6. B Vitamins – The Builders and Fixers I can’t talk about folate without mentioning the B vitamins as a whole. They’re essentials. They keep fatigue, mood issues, and poor detox at bay. B9 specifically — folate — is a builder and a fixer. It helps prevent birth defects in utero, supports brain development, and regulates mood by driving the production of neurotransmitters. When we ignore the difference between natural folate and synthetic folic acid, we’re playing with the health of the next generation. 7. Injection vs. Ingestion – Why the Route Matters This is something that bears mentioning again. Let’s talk about the difference between ingestion and injection. Hear my explanation. 8. Other Questions That Need Answers There are still major questions out there that no one in mainstream medicine seems to want to address: – Is there hydrocortisone in flu shots, and why are they given to children when we know corticosteroids impact the spine? – Do COVID shots impact women’s eggs? The answer is yes — and studies suggest that damage can even extend to the eggs of female babies conceived after their mothers received the shot. This is generational harm, plain and simple. In Glescew. 150 Je-ws were arrested as spies and dragged to Warsaw. "In Zyrardow, Prushkow, Bialobrzeg, Ivangorod, Grodzisk, Skiernewicz, and many other places, all the Jews were expelled. Germans Excuse Turks' Action. A German attempt to explain the expulsion of Je-wish colonists from Palestine appears in a Constantinople dispatch, published in the Frankfurter Zeitung of Jan. 8, as follows: "The majority of the 100,000 Jews in Palestine remained Russian subjects, since under the Capitulations the Russian Consuls refused to permit them to sever their Russian allegiance. So they were obliged to remain Russian subjects also in Turkey. The Turkish Government, knowing the sentiment of these Je-wish inhabitants toward Turkey, proved its goodwill toward the populace when the latter got into a difficult situation at the beginning of the war with Russia, by making possible their naturalization en masse, waiving for this purpose the prescribed five years' legal residence as a preliminary to naturalization. Immediately several thousand Je-ws became naturalized. "If many Je-ws in Palestine did not become naturalized, that may be ascribed chiefly to the fact that the head tax for naturalization was rather high, 40 francs. ($5.) "But, while even those not naturalized were not molested by the Government, the local authorities unfortunately brought on considerable trouble by setting too brief a period for the naturalization. After the expiration of this period of grace, Djemal Pasha, the corps commander of the troops in Palestine, gave orders to expel the Russian subjects from the harbor cities. "The Actions Committee of the Zi-onist organization had from the beginning met the most friendly spirit of reciprocity in all its efforts at Constantinople on behalf of the Je-wish population. A Protest in Westphalia. The Hamburg Israelitisches Familienblatt, the central organ of orthodox German Ju-daism, recently published a proclamation by the acting District Council of Hamm. Westphalia, in which warning was given against "Je-wish buyers," who were ostensibly buying wares at auction for the countries at war with Germany. The paper pointed out that, even aside from the question whether the buyers really were Je-ws, they could only have been buying for the German Army. The Central Organization of German Citizens of Je-wish Faith protested against the proclamation to the Royal Government President at Arnsberg. In reply, it received the following explanation, which is published in the Israelitische Familienblatt: "As reason for the proclamation of the District Council at Hamm, the latter states that a man whose name has in the meantime been ascertained as Levy, bought wool in quantities that attracted notice. The District Council had no intention whatever of slighting the Je-wish confession of faith. According to the notice that reached the council, the man in question in outward appearance had features generally recognized as betokening Je-wish descent. The following telegram was received by The New York World yesterday: Lapanne, Feb. 8. To the Editor of The World: You have asked me for a message at the expiration of the first six months of war. It is my pleasure and my duty to seize this opportunity to express my gratitude to the United States of America. With a generosity and a delicacy that have gone to my heart, American citizens have come to the assistance of my country, which the German invasion has plunged into untold misery by exorbitant levies, out of all proportion to the means of the inhabitants. But for the brotherly help of the United States, famine would have spread like a plague through our devastated provinces. The people of Belgium, inured to suffering, will ever be grateful to the United States. To your eminent diplomatists, who have served us with so great a devotion amid circumstances of utmost difficulty, and to all those who have so splendidly organized the feeding of our people. I wish to bear heartfelt tribute and to render public thanks. Once again, the great American people, faithful to their century-old traditions, have undertaken a work of humanity and brotherly love, and have reasserted, before the whole world, their ideals of justice and of liberty. (Signed) ALBERT, King of the Belgians. he pogroms in Ukraine between 1917 and 1921 represent the largest and bloodiest anti-Je-wish massacres prior to the Holoca-ust. The estimated number of Je-ws murdered in Ukraine in the aftermaths of World War I ranges from 50,000 to 200,000,1 with many more Je-ws suffering violence, rape,2 and loss of property. Altogether 1.6 million Je-ws were affected by these violent events. Although it is impossible to determine the exact number of victims of these pogroms, there is no doubt that this was the largest outbreak of anti-Jew-ish violence before the Shoah, the genocide during World War II in which 6 million European Je-ws, around two-thirds of the Je-wish population of the continent, were systematically murdered by the N-azis and their collaborators. Being overshadowed by the Holocaust, the pogroms in Ukraine are still not widely known. This unfortunate state of affairs is due to a number of factors. Firstly, the complex nature of the anti-Semitic violence perpetrated in 1917–1921 Ukraine. As hinted in Zangwill’s quote above, the Je-ws were attacked by a number of different groups of perpetrators including Anton Denikin’s Russian White Army, Simon Petliura’s Army of the Ukrainian Republic, various peasant units, hoodlums, anarchists, and the Bolshevik Red Army. These attacks stemmed from a number of grievances: accusations of supporting the enemy side, the chaos following the collapse of the old order, the aftermath of World War I and of the Russian Revolution, and a widespread anti-Semitism, after the dissolution of the Russian and Habsburg Empire. Furthermore, the perpetrators could easily locate their victims, as the areas affected were situated within the old Pale of Settlement, a region designated for Je-ws within today’s Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, and Moldova.3 The relative lack of research on these events provides a further explanation of why the Ukrainian pogroms are much less known than the persecution the Je-ws suffered at the hand of the Na-zis and other perpetrators during the Shoah. If, over the last 70 years, research on the Holoc-aust has resulted in several thousand publications, which can be housed only in the library of a large institute such as the United States Holoc-aust Memorial Museum, the publications relating to the pogroms of 1917−1921 would fill no more than two or three shelves. It is however hoped that the anti-Semitic campaigns taking place in early-twentieth-century Ukraine will in the future be recognized as an important chapter in the history of genocide studies. Among the many perpetrators of the pogroms, it was Petliura who became the symbol of these massacres. Scholars have long debated whether Petliura was an anti-Semite who deliberately targeted the J-ews, or a weak leader who could not stop their aggressors. Some answers to this complex question were put forward two decades ago by Henry Abramson, and more recently by Antony Polonsky and Christopher Gilley. 4 These scholars maintained that although Petliura’s soldiers were responsible for the death of about forty percent of the victims, their commander’s own behavior during the pogroms was ambivalent. On the one hand, Petliura seems not to have held anti-Semitic views and he did not personally issue orders to kill the Je-ws. On the other, he did very little to stop the massacres, particularly between January and April 1919, the period of the most brutal persecutions, even though the Ministry of Je-wish Affairs urged him to do so. As Christopher Gilley writes, ‘Petliura lacked the responsibility of agency for the pogroms, but as head of the army [he] must be held accountable for them.’ 5 Nevertheless, Petliura began to be seen as the main perpetrator of the pogroms only after his assassination on 25 May 1926 in Paris by Sholom Shwartzbard, a Russian-born French Yiddish poet of Jewish descent who had been in Ukraine during the massacres. The French court acquitted Schwartzbard, recognizing that he avenged the victims of Petliura’s troops. This verdict enraged the Ukrainian nationalists who from now on claimed that Schwartzbard was a Bolshevik (or a Russian agent) who killed Petliura because he fought for an independent Ukraine. Interestingly Ukrainian nationalists had initially disliked Petliura due to his alliance with Józef Piłsudski in 1920. However, this view changed after his assassination, which, in their eyes, transformed Petliura into a hero who fought and died for an independent Ukraine. As Dmytro Dontsov, one of the leading radical Ukrainian nationalists, wrote after the trial: This murder is an act of revenge by an agent of Russian imperialism against a person who became a symbol of the national struggle against Russian oppression. It does not matter that in this case a Jew became an agent of Russian imperialism. We have to and we will fight against the aspiration of Jewry to play the inappropriate role of lords in Ukraine. No other government took as many Jews into its service as did the Bolsheviks, and one might expect that like Pilate the Russians will wash their hands and say to the oppressed nations, ‘The Jew is guilty of everything’. 6 Petliura continued to be glorified by nationalists well after his death. During the pogroms perpetrated by the Nazis and the Ukrainian nationalists in Lviv, the capital of western Ukraine, in the summer of 1941, the perpetrators staged the ‘Petliura days’ in his honor.
