How Jesus Lived - A Desperate Faith

Before we move forward, we’re taking a moment to look back.
We learned Who Jesus Is — the eternal Word, the image of the invisible God.
We discovered Why Jesus Came — to reconcile, to save, and to give us abundant life.

Now, we begin to see How He Lived.

📖 Mark 1:40 —

“Then a man with leprosy came to him and, on his knees, begged him: ‘If you are willing, you can make me clean.’”

Leprosy made this man an outcast, cut off from everyone — yet faith drove him straight to Jesus.
He didn’t question if Jesus could heal him, only if He would.

That’s where so many of us find ourselves — believing God can, but unsure if He will for us.

💬 Reflection:

What area of your life feels too broken to bring to Him?

Do you believe He is not only able, but willing to heal and restore you?

📖 Psalm 34:18 —

“The Lord is near the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit.”

Jesus is never afraid of your “unclean” places — He steps into them with compassion and brings wholeness.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re beyond His reach, this story is your reminder: you’re not.

Next, we’ll see how Jesus responds in love — “Moved with compassion, He reached out His hand and touched him.” 💛
