Seventy-five million dollars. That's what Canada just paid for the most catastrophic diplomatic blunder in North American history. Gary Franchi here with THE RAW FEED, and what happened today will be studied in history books as the moment Canada learned you don't mess with Donald Trump - or Ronald Reagan's legacy.

The Ontario government thought they were clever, spending $75 million in taxpayer money on an attack ad that deceptively edited Reagan's 1987 radio address to make it sound like the Gipper opposed all tariffs. They chopped up his words, rearranged his message, and completely misrepresented what Reagan actually said about fair trade versus protectionism.

Trump's response was instant and devastating. Within hours of the ad airing, he posted on Truth Social: "Based on their egregious behavior, all trade negotiations with Canada are hereby terminated." No warning. No second chances. Just the immediate end of every single trade discussion between the world's longest undefended border partners.

But here's where it gets even worse for Canada. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation just announced they're reviewing legal options against Ontario for unauthorized use and manipulation of Reagan's image and words. They released a statement confirming Canada never sought permission and deliberately misrepresented the President's actual position. Lawsuits are coming.

The markets tell the real story. While Canada panics over losing their biggest trading partner, American stocks exploded upward. The Dow surged 257 points. Interest rates plummeted. CNBC's anchors literally said "markets are on fire" as the Trump Effect sent investor confidence soaring 36% since Liberation Day. The message is clear: America doesn't need Canada, but Canada desperately needs America.

What makes this even more delicious is the timing. Canada tried to influence upcoming Supreme Court decisions on tariffs with their propaganda, thinking they could manipulate American policy through deception. Instead, they just proved Trump right about everything he's said about unfair trading partners trying to take advantage of America.

Canada spent $75M trying to convince Americans tariffs hurt them, only to prove losing US access destroys their economy. Their GDP depends on US trade. Without it, facing what economists call "doomed to recession."What happens when attacking America with lies or manipulating our politics with propaganda. Trump doesn't negotiate with deceivers—he destroys them. Today, Canada learned that lesson the hard way: losing everything over one stupid fake ad.

This is Gary Franchi for Next News Network's RAW FEED, documenting the moment Canada played itself into economic oblivion.
