PEDESTRIAN STRUCK ON 59 IN CRITICAL CONDITION, MARSTON TEXAS, 10/24/25...

Auto / Pedestrian Accident, Pedestrian Critical, MARSTON, October 24, 2025 - At approximately 8:45 pm on October 24, 2025, a black 2016 Ford F-250 pickup (pulling a travel trailer) was north-bound on US-59 (just past the south end of Loop 116) when a female attempted to cross the road in front of them and was impacted. The driver pulled to the right shoulder, the female was laid out on the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Devon Franz and Sergeant Trent Jones with The Polk County Sheriff's Office. The Deputies initiated a preliminary investigation as they held the scene for a Trooper that was being dispatched from Lufkin. The female pedestrian was loaded onto an ambulance and was in critical condition. There were no other injuries. The names of the parties have not yet been released.
