🌍 NASA’s Habitable Worlds Observatory: The Search for Life Beyond Earth

To discover signs of life beyond our solar system, NASA is building its most ambitious space telescope yet — the Habitable Worlds Observatory. Using and expanding upon the proven technologies of Hubble, James Webb, and the upcoming Roman Space Telescope, this new observatory will study distant star systems to find the chemical fingerprints of planets capable of supporting life — and maybe even detect life itself.

Narrated by John Rhys-Davies, this short film explores how NASA scientists and engineers are preparing to take the next great leap in humanity’s search for life in the universe.
