Serial: Adventures of Red Ryder, 1940

Calvin Drake, a Mesquite banker, intends to take ownership of the land in the area and make money off of the Santa Fe Railroad's right-of-way acquisition. Ira Withers is slain in the ensuing war of intimidation against the ranchers, and Red Ryder and his father, Colonel Tom Ryder, organize to expel the outlaws and gunmen from the area.
