Discussing What Is A Miracle With "Various Miracles" by Carol Shields

"Various Miracles" by Carol Shields is a short story about a series of odd coincidences this culminates to a model receiving a missing novel page describing exactly what she was wearing.

By itself the story isn't too fascinating but coupled with the previous story I read to this titled "Civil Peace" by Chinua Achebe it creates a fascinating tale about miracles. To one person miracles are extreme coincidences but to another person a miracle is grateful everyday for being alive.

As I type this I wonder if "Various Miracles" is about religious miracles being fake altogether because many so-called miracles could simply be an extreme miracle of one or another.
