Yeshua Rejected: Can Israel Return Without Repentance?

Many today believe that God blessed the Jewish people when they returned to their land, opening the way for them to rebuild their temple and usher in the Messiah by man's decree. But Scripture tells a very different story.

In this study, Tom Stapleton contrasts the modern Zionist narrative with God’s unchanging conditions for restoration: repentance and obedience. From 2 Chronicles 6:36–37 and Daniel 9’s prayer of confession, to Yeshua’s own words in John 8:31–36, we see that freedom, belonging, and inheritance in God’s house come only through the Son — not through lineage, nationality, or man’s decree.

Tom exposes the tragic parallel between ancient Israel’s rejection of Yeshua and the modern attempt to claim the promises apart from Him. As Yeshua said, “A slave does not remain in the house forever, but a son remains forever.” Will Israel — and will Christians — repent and abide as true sons? Or will Israel continue to reject the Lawgiver and Christians continue to reject the law He gave?
