Death Penalty? DOJ Charges Murderer Of Iryna Zarutska

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has officially charged Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr. in connection with the fatal attack on Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian woman killed on a Charlotte light rail train.

Brown faces a federal charge of committing an act of violence on a mass transportation system resulting in death, in addition to state-level first-degree murder charges.
