Don Jr. Mocks Hillary: “She Stole Furniture, Now Complains About Renovations”

NEW YORK, October 23, 2025 — In a wide-ranging Fox & Friends interview with Lawrence Jones this morning, Donald Trump Jr. blasted Democrats’ economic policies and mocked media outrage over President Trump’s privately funded White House renovation project.

“The Democrats are kamikazes right now,” Trump Jr. said. “They’ve stopped making sense. Everything they touch fails, and now they’re melting down because my father — a builder — is improving the White House with his own money and private donors. It’s costing the taxpayer nothing.”

He said the renovations will allow for larger state dinners and international summits, making the executive mansion “more functional for trade and diplomacy.”

“The White House is beautiful, but it’s small,” Don Jr. said. “To bring the world together, you need a space that can handle that. My father’s building something that will benefit every future president — Republican or Democrat.”

Don Jr. ridiculed critics like Hillary Clinton, calling it “peak irony” that she accused Trump of misusing the people’s house:

“Hillary and Bill literally had to return furniture and silverware they stole from the White House. Now she’s complaining about a president who’s actually adding value.”

Earlier in the segment, Trump Jr. tore into New York’s proposed $30 minimum wage, warning it would “destroy small businesses and replace workers with iPads.”

“People can’t afford to pay $30 an hour for entry-level work,” he said. “This is going to crush the middle class, push businesses out of New York, and make people dependent on government.”

He compared the city’s decline to a cautionary tale:

“Maybe New York has to hit rock bottom to wake up — like addiction. If the country sees New York fail, maybe it’ll stop the spread of this disease of communism in America.”

As millions of New Yorkers and businesses relocate to Florida and Texas, Don Jr. said he doesn’t miss his hometown:

“You couldn’t pay me to go back. I lived there 43 years. I moved to Florida — it’s incredible. If I never saw New York again, it wouldn’t change my life one bit.”
