Everyone experiences life from a different perspective but we all go through difficult seasons. It's all relative. Walking through such seasons is far more grueling when we are alone, or feel like we are alone. Hope is an important aspect of recovery, even when everything seems lost. I can relate to these people I spoke to on camera. My own story is just as wild and intense. ❤️🙂

Interesting moments taken from people interviewed facing difficult life circumstances in the feature documentary Roadz Of Life (movie).

Sharing our stories and struggles can also encourage others in their own journey. Beautiful, artistic, raw, thought provoking, sometimes funny, down to earth, outside the box film making. Roadz Of Life Jump starts your feelings and thoughts. These are complex topics. 🎥

Interview Highlights: Talking with a woman who was in a hit and run accident at age sixteen, now in her forties. " I come out with things, explaining words are wrong. But I used to eat flowers. I didn't know right from wrong. A really hard time. All my knees were purple for many, many years. " The footage is taken from the Roadz Of Life documentary

What Issues Does The Film Address?

Relationships, mental health, physical disabilities, drug addiction, pregnancy, homelessness, trauma, grief, emotions, the human experience. The film maker uses his own traumatic journey and the extreme case studies he explores, to highlight social and psychological issues we all face as humans within relationships and the surrounding world as a whole. The film addresses the loneliness and dysfunctional side of relationships and communication in a day and age of technology and social media dependence. Exposing a lack of connection to nature and one another, revealing the importance of connection in times of hardship. The film allows people to explore and discuss foundational areas of their life that are sometimes difficult to put into words, neglected or not represented on film.

Journaling the recovery from a severe disability, introspective, the filmmaker is also the subject, finding his way out of a coma like state through the lens of a camera. Exploring his loss of identity and trauma, in a world that now feels foreign, he interviews strangers also experiencing extreme social circumstances including drug addiction, mental health issues, physical disabilities, carers of disabilities tackling topics like trauma, grief, emotions and relationships. The film storyboard and soundtrack is jagged and bombarding like a jigsaw puzzle, leaving questions unanswered, a plotline that plays out more like a fiction film. It Portrays the disconcerting nightmare and dreamlike state the subject is experiencing. Filtered with beach life, his child and dog. Extreme emotions are placed on the viewer that draws toward deeper questions of what it is to be human, finalizing with a deeper appreciation of nature, life and relationships that relate to a very broad audience.
