Allan Lichtman's 2024 presidential prediction was incorrect. He and his son streamed live that night, so we could watch him meltdown and unravel as the votes came in.

The moniker "Polling Nostradamus" was notably applied to Allan Lichtman by Newsweek magazine, alongside his other frequent title, "Prophet of Presidential Elections," which was used by The New York Times.
He proved to be a FALSE PROPHET!

Using his "Keys to the White House" model, which has historically predicted most presidential elections correctly since 1984, Lichtman predicted that the incumbent party's nominee, Kamala Harris, would win the election.
The actual election outcome did not align with his forecast.
In the aftermath, Lichtman stated that his predictive model failed due to factors not fully accounted for in the system. He cited reasons such as the influence of billionaires and digital disinformation campaigns, specifically mentioning the "Trump-Musk axis" as having "broken" his model.
