Escaping The Expat Bubble ... A Philosophical Walk & Talk Thru Nong Prajak Park #udonthanithailand

Something a little bit out of ordinary for yours truly, as I fuse a showcase of the beautiful grounds (plus bustling surrounds) of the iconic Nong Prajak Public Park #, with a philosophical (plus practical) discussion, on the expat bubble *.

All of the above, enjoyed while on another most pleasant Wednesday morning walkabout in Udon Thani, Isan, Northeastern Thailand.

In this video, I give you my take on the some of expat life issues I encountered from extensive personal experience living and working England in the 1990s, then and now, as an early self funded retired in Udorn Thanee.

The main focus of my musings, centre around of the concept of an expat bubble, the positives and negatives, plus ways to ensure one is not trapped in it, fulltime.

Some of those ideas, include;

Changing locations
Doing more travel
Reducing doom scrolling ##
Getting out our comfort zones
Challenging negative mindsets
Avoiding malcontented vexed expats **
Learning more about the ; culture, language, history, customs
