BREAKING NEWS: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has just confirmed that massive new sanctions against Russia are imminent, describing them as “one of the largest sanctions packages ever imposed on the Russian Federation.”

Bessent stated, “We are enacting a substantial increase in Russia sanctions... one of the largest we’ve done against the Russian Federation.”

He went on to add that President Putin has not come to the table in an honest or forthright manner, despite backchannel talks, and that President Trump is “disappointed” with where negotiations currently stand.

It’s clear, the U.S. is preparing to turn up the economic pressure on Moscow in a big way.
