We are on day 22 of the government shutdown, as Democrats are not showing any signs of coming to the table to negotiate something reasonable. There has been nothing affordable about the affordable care act and was pushed through by Democrats during the Obama era. The expiring subsidies that Democrats are fighting for were also created and voted on by Democrats. Obamacare wreaked havoc on the healthcare marketplace and literally destroyed affordable health plans like HMOs. Next year, insurers expect an 18% percent increase in healthcare premiums because they expect healthy people to ditch their ridiculous "healthcare" plans. Congressman Ben Cline is here to talk about the stalemate and how we might get the government back up and running.
