Russia - A New Golden Age

Richard also explained that Siberia is not the harsh, isolated place many Americans might imagine, but rather has a distinct climate with four seasons, including a short but productive growing season. Regis and Peter discussed Russia’s technological and cultural advancements, with Regis highlighting Russia’s world-class TV and video production, advanced conference organization, and military technology, including hypersonic missiles. Peter confirmed Russia’s technological and military progress, mentioning Russia’s goal to provide gigabit fiber optic availability to all citizens by 2030. Regis also emphasized Russia’s rich cultural heritage, including its arts, literature, filmmakers, ballet, and wine production, comparing it favorably to the United States and other countries.
