Digital ID: How Did We Get Here — And What Comes Next?

Digital ID has arrived, but do you really know what it means? How did we actually get to this point, and what can we do about it?

I have tried to make this as palatable as possible, so it can be shared to those who are not too aware of things. I tried to keep it short also, but unfortunately it was not possible as there was so much to talk about and I have no doubt missed an awful lot.
