MATS’EKHA ART CHOIR is a creative ensemble born from the spirit of Lesotho’s ancestral soundscape. The choir’s mission is to expose and preserve Sesotho indigenous music, while transforming it into a living art form fit for international art galleries, museums, and theatres.

Through their harmonies, chants, and rituals, Mats’ekha Art Choir tells stories of identity, resilience, and spirituality — bridging the past and the present through the power of collective song.

Their latest piece, “Leleka Satane”, is more than a song — it’s a spiritual declaration against darkness, a rhythmic uprising that celebrates the power of light, unity, and faith.
