Pastor Rob McCoy

Rob and Michelle McCoy have been married 35 years. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Rob has been an ordained minister for more than 30 years and has been the senior pastor of Godspeak Calvary Chapel, an evangelical church in Newbury Park (Thousand Oaks area), California, for a little over 25 years.

He is Co-chair of TPUSA Faith. Charlie Kirk called Rob his pastor and he officiated Charlie and Erika’s wedding.

Rob took on Governor Newsom and the County of Ventura during the lockdowns when the Governor declared the church to be nonessential. He disobeyed the unconstitutional order of the Governor and kept their church open. He was threatened with arrest and fined $3000 every time the doors of the church were opened to the public and as a result was found guilty of contempt twice and amassed total fines of over $300,000. He refused to close and ultimately the county and the state lifted the fines and relented. He declared then and still does today that the church is essential and that God is greater than government.
