Using up what’s left in the fridge to prepare a tasty pie I ZERO FOOD WASTE RECIPE

You have some leftover veggies in your fridge that need to be eaten? Halves, stems, or overripe veggies, it’s not a problem… Time to use them up for a tasty pie!

Ingredients :
All the old veggies you have at home
2 eggs
Cottage cheese
Salt and pepper

Dough
50 g Cold butter
200 g flour
pinch of salt
1 egg
15g of butter for the tray

Recipe
To make the dough mix Flour - butter - salt and whizz until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Then add one egg and whizz until it forms a dough
Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 mins
While waiting for oven to preheat to 200C
Shape the dough on the pie tray and bake for 10-12mins
Cut all your veggies into smaller pieces
Brown them in a pan with olive oil and then simmered for 15 minutes
Mix 2 eggs with cottage cheese and some salt and pepper
Add the veggies and then the eggs mix onto the preheated dough
Bake for 20mins
