A US Marshal and an illegal immigrant were shot Tuesday in Los Angeles during an operation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to reports.

The suspect allegedly rammed into federal vehicles, prompting agents to surround and box in the immigrant’s car, according to FOX 11. The shooting began after an ICE officer confronted the suspect’s vehicle and smashed the window with their service weapon, a law enforcement source told CNN.
