Heavenly Father, God of all glory, we come boldly into Your Throne Room of Grace, in the Name of Jesus. We are within the veil, where there is life everlasting. We take our seat of authority at Your right Hand, in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:6). The enemy has been stripped of power, defeated and is beneath our feet, and we pray from this place of victory (Eph 1:22). Thank You for this privilege to co-labor with You. We ask for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, and we focus on Your glory that belongs to You.

Father, we ask for Your help today, and for the help of Jesus. Thank You, Father, for the Holy Spirit and for the angels who respond to Your Word as it is given and spoken through us by the Holy Spirit. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for answering them.

The president-elect of the Oxford Union has been ousted following outrage over his apparent celebration of Charlie Kirk’s shooting. George Abaraonye, who was due to take over as president of the 202-year-old debating society next term, was forced out following a vote on Saturday. The Oxford Union published the results of the vote on Tuesday morning. Of 1,746 votes cast, 1,228 were in favor of no-confidence, meaning the no-confidence motion carried. Rules state that at least two-thirds of valid votes must be cast in favor for the motion to be passed.
-The debating society was engulfed in a free speech row when The Telegraph revealed in September that Mr. Abaraonye had shared messages in which he appeared to celebrate the lethal attack on Kirk, a Right-wing US influencer. -Sources claimed that close to 1,000 life members of the Oxford Union subsequently registered proxy votes against the philosophy, politics and economics student in an organized push to oust him last week. -A notice posted at the university on Tuesday read: “As this threshold has been met, the motion of no confidence has been carried.” The results of the poll were published on Tuesday morning.
- Oxford Union officials told The Telegraph the vote count had descended into chaos as they had to check the identity of every proxy vote manually. The process was temporarily suspended on Monday morning after the Oxford Union’s extraordinary returning officer claimed he was “subjected to obstruction, intimidation, and unwarranted hostility by a number of representatives”.
-Mr Abaraonye, 20, contested the results, claiming he “remains the president-elect”. He claimed the poll was “compromised” and he did not know “if or how many proxy votes have been tampered with”. In September, the final-year student at University College, Oxford, sent texts to a chat group, including one saying, “Charlie Kirk got shot, let’s f------ go”, a common celebratory phrase among Gen Z. Another message, believed to be sent from his Instagram account, said: “Charlie Kirk got shot LOOOL.”
-Mr Abaraonye debated with Kirk in the Oxford Union chamber months earlier, with the pair exchanging views on marriage, gender norms and toxic masculinity. Mr Abaraonye has since apologized and retracted his remarks, but his refusal to step away angered many alumni.

There was a widespread backlash over the student’s remarks about Kirk, which The Telegraph revealed had prompted dozens of scheduled speakers to pull out and a £500,000 donation to be put on hold. -Kirk’s allies threatened to lead a boycott of the Oxford Union unless Mr Abaraonye resigned. In an open letter read out on last Friday’s episode of The Charlie Kirk Show podcast, three of Kirk’s closest friends said they would “personally contact every American political speaker who has ever graced the union’s chamber and urge them never again to lend their name, time or reputation to that institution that has betrayed its founding ideals”.It would have raised questions over speaking events scheduled to take place in the coming months, including an appearance by Mike Pence, Donald Trump’s former vice-president.
Mr Abaraonye claimed that the debate over his future at the Oxford Union had been hijacked by racist remarks and “violent and extreme rhetoric”, which he said had resulted in threats to his family. In a statement to The Telegraph last week, he said: “The union is a formative space where students learn, often through error. Making a mistake and growing from it is part of the university experience. For members who know me or have engaged with me since, I hope they see that growth and my commitment to the role. “Ultimately, the specific outcome [of the vote] is secondary to the principle. The goal is to demonstrate that the Oxford Union will not be bullied by cancel culture and will stand firm in its commitment to free speech, a fair process and reasoned debate.”
-After the results were announced, Mr. Abaraonye’s team released a statement which read: “This poll was compromised from the moment Moosa Harraj [president of the Oxford Union] and his majority on the Standing Committee brought compromised and untested Poll Regulations. “George is proud and thankful to have the support of well in excess of a majority of students at Oxford, who voted to have a safe election and resist attempts to subvert democracy.”

Prayer for the Persecuted Church in Nigeria and the Salvation of Their Persecutors:
Lord, we come before You in agreement with the prayers of our brothers and sisters in the persecuted Church, especially those in Nigeria. Strengthen them Father so they continue to stand firm in their faith in Your son Jesus. We ask that the children that are being hidden and protected by their mothers and all who are suffering will grow up to boldly preach the Gospel.
Move powerfully among the people, Lord. We ask that many, even among those who persecute Your people, even those among the Muslims, to encounter You, the true and Living God. May they come to know that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. Let them be won by Your love. Let there be a turning around for them with true repentance and let there be a massive wave of salvation, even among the tormentors.
We cry out for deliverance and divine protection over the precious Nigerian Christians. Strengthen them, Lord. Surround them with Your presence, Your Word, Your angels, and Your peace.
Father, we admit we don’t even know all that needs to be prayed. But Your Word says in Romans 8:26–27:
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”
And we hold to Your promise in verse 28:
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Holy Spirit, help us to pray in tongues for those being persecuted and for the salvation of the tormentors, that they would stop their violence and be brought into Your Kingdom. We believe that You, Lord, will work all these things together for good, for Your glory.

Father, we know that these children have a call on them. The spirits of evil men are killing the Nigerian men to prevent future generations to serve You. We know that some of the women are disguising their sons as girls to protect them. We pray that these children will grow up to become great leaders in the Kingdom of God.
This reminds us of how Joash was hidden to become king. Father, do this again and save these young leaders for Your glory.

Father, we recognize that voting and supporting the wicked brings harm to our nation. We ask for a crop failure for where the wicked have sowed their money. We ask that any plans or influences rooted in corruption, evil or deception, whether through organizations, churches or leaders fail and come to nothing. -Father, we pray for divine protection for everyone on this call, their families and those that come on later. We pray that they are protected today by Your mighty angels and the Blood of Jesus.
-Father, we plead the Blood of Jesus over everyone on this call and those that would like to be on but come on later. Thank You for Your divine protection over all of us because of Your keeping power. We believe for this same protection for our loved ones and ourselves. Thank You for the divine protection of the Blood of Jesus over our spirits, souls and bodies for us, our families and our loved ones. All who are on this call walk in divine health because of the Cross and the precious Blood of Jesus that is over us. We stay on the rock-solid path of Jesus and the ministries that we walk in that You have chosen for all of us.

We plead the Blood of Jesus over our finances and thank You that we are led by You in our giving. We sow out of love and not selfish reasons. We are not scammed, deceived or ripped off. Thank You for the grace in what we buy. We are led by the Holy Spirit regarding whom to give to, and we give with loving, compassionate, generous hearts to glorify You. Thank You for increasing our finances, for there is no lack in the Kingdom of God or in our lives. We are not scammed, fooled, or taken advantage of. The enemy must return to us sevenfold what he has stolen. We joyfully sow into ministries that bear good with fruitful results. Thank You for great deals on our purchases. Thank You for Your wisdom and discernment.
-Protection over dwelling places and possessions:
The Blood of Jesus covers our homes, dwelling places, and vehicles. We live in peaceful habitations. Thank You for Your protection during these perilous times. You are so faithful. There will be no fires consuming our houses, no floods sweeping them away, and no demonic activity in or around our properties. No plagues or calamities will come near our dwellings. We are blessed as we come and go. Angels are encamped around us, and God Himself is a wall of fire surrounding us. We are surrounded with a shield of favor. Our homes and vehicles are safe from all harm. Thank You that our homes have the peace of Goshen on them. There will be no bioweapons shot off near the people on this call.
-Freedom from Disaster and Harm:
We declare that there will be no destruction, no criminal intruders, and no natural disasters coming near our homes. There will be no weather damage, no catastrophic earthquakes, explosions, plagues, diseases, storms, tornadoes, wind damage, hail, lightning, criminals, thieves, or disasters of any kind touching our houses, properties, dwelling places, or families. We live in a place of peace and safety.
-Blessing Over Pets:
We plead the Blood of Jesus over our beloved pets who bring us much joy. They are happy, healthy, disease-free, safe, and live long, carefree, peaceful and blessed lives.

Prayer for Lois:
Father, we lift up Lois and all of her needs to You. We pray for her finances and Your mercy over her health, work and animals. We ask for Your protection of her spirit, soul, and body. We declare the Blood of Jesus over her and thank You for Your supernatural keeping power over her. May You shower her with Your favor, grace and mercy.
Guide her steps and let the truth of Jesus reach those who cross her path. Lois walks in favor with God and man, and favor surrounds her as a shield.
